After spending two decades in the automotive industry, I realized it was time for a change. During a year and a half off, I spent my time helping my senior parents with small tasks around their home: replacing door handles, changing smoke detector batteries, swapping furnace filters, fixing faucets, and more.

It was during this time that I asked myself: Who would they call if I wasn’t around?

After researching, I noticed a gap in the market:

  • Plumbers and HVAC services charged high fees just to show up.
  • Most handyman services required 4–6 hours of work before they would even come.
  • Many task or gig companies specialized in furniture assembly but didn’t handle smaller, essential jobs like grab handle installation or footcare support.

There was no single place where a kid of a senior could go to find reliable, non-medical help for small, important tasks. So I built The Tasketeers.

Our mission is simple: to help seniors and individuals with mobility challenges live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. We handle the small, everyday tasks that matter—so seniors and their families can have peace of mind.

Hey, I’m Warren, the founder of The Tasketeers.
Helping my parents with small tasks inspired me to create Tasketeers. I want every senior and family to feel safe, supported, and stress-free at home. If you have questions or ideas, my email is always open: hello@thetasketeers.ca
