The Tasketeers is committed to providing a safe, professional, and trustworthy platform for both Customers and Tasketeers (Vendors). This policy explains how refunds, disputes, and safety issues are handled.


1. Refunds

  • Refunds are issued at the discretion of The Tasketeers after reviewing feedback from both the Customer and the Vendor.
  • Partial refunds may be provided depending on the circumstances of the booking.
  • Refunds will be processed promptly to ensure fair treatment for all parties.
  • Vendors agree that refund decisions may affect their payouts if they are deemed at fault.

2. Trust & Safety

  • All Users (Customers and Vendors) are expected to act professionally, ethically, and respectfully.
  • Vendors have the right to refuse service if a location is unsafe, unhealthy, or otherwise uncomfortable.
  • Customers must provide accurate information and treat Vendors respectfully.
  • Any unsafe conditions, harassment, or criminal activity must be reported to The Tasketeers immediately.
  • The Tasketeers may suspend or restrict accounts of any User who violates safety or conduct standards.

3. Booking Disputes

  • The Tasketeers reviews disputes between Customers and Vendors fairly and promptly.
  • Both parties will be asked to provide details about the booking, services, and issues encountered.
  • The Tasketeers’ decision regarding refunds, adjustments, or account restrictions is final.

4. Payment & Commission

  • Commission is collected on all bookings through the platform.
  • If a refund is issued and the Vendor is at fault, commission may be adjusted or reclaimed from Vendor payouts.
  • Payouts reflect any necessary adjustments to ensure fair handling of bookings and refunds.

5. Reporting Issues

  • Customers and Vendors can report any safety, conduct, or service concerns via hello@thetasketeers.ca.
  • Reports are reviewed promptly, and appropriate action is taken to maintain trust and safety on the platform.

6. Policy Updates

The Tasketeers may update this Refunds & Trust Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top indicates the most recent version. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updates.
